About NICK SLAM open
- I directed this open for Nickelodeon's SLAM! block of shows back in 2003. I designed and animated the Slam kid, along with his dog, Gruff. Assisting animation by Claude Edwards. Reese Lloyd (RIP) created all the oddball visuals featuring vintage illustrations from the past, as Slam and Gruff burst through all that. This was a ton of fun to work on, as it gave me the chance to study frame-by-frame skaters and how they did their tricks.
