SocialCounts.Org is a real-time analytics platform focused on YouTube channels and videos. We provide live counts and analytics features for creators and viewers.

SocialCounts.Org is available worldwide. We serve users in all countries and regions. Wherever you are, you can access our services, subject to applicable local laws.
Information we collect
Data received from Google sign-in
- Identity basics: Google account ID, name/display name, and profile image URL.
- Contact: Email address.
Other information we collect
- Account information: If you sign in, we process data provided by your sign-in method, such as your name, email, profile image, and username. You may optionally add profile details like bio and location, and you may upload a custom profile image.
- Technical data: For security and abuse prevention, we process IP addresses transiently to apply rate limiting. We may also process basic request metadata (timestamps and endpoint identifiers) needed to enforce fair use.
- Usage analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage and improve the product. These services set their own cookies or identifiers.

Data sources
Public YouTube channel and video statistics are sourced from official APIs or publicly available data. We do not access private YouTube data of creators.

Data storage and processors
- Data storage: User and app data are stored securely in our databases.
- Rate limiting: We enforce IP-based rate limits; IP addresses are processed transiently for this purpose.
- Media storage: Profile images you upload are stored securely and may be delivered publicly as part of your profile.
- Analytics: Google Analytics process usage data on our behalf.

Data retention
- Account and profile data are retained while your account is active or as required by law.
- Comments, votes, and notifications are retained until deleted or as needed for service integrity.

We currently do not have a feature for deleting your account. However, if you would like to have your account deleted, you can request us via contact. We will delete your account and all associated personal information upon request.

We reserve the right to ban any account that engages in illegal activity or violates our terms of service. We may ban an account temporarily or permanently depending on the severity of the violation.
Reporting and Deleting Comments
Users can report any comments they believe are inappropriate or violate our terms of service. We reserve the right to delete any comments that violate our terms of service.
