Second Thoughts were formed in North Wales in 1983 by singer/songwriter Mark Snape (my father) and keyboard player Robin Griffith. In 1984–85, guitarist Dave Andrews joined Mark on “Never Seen” and “Don’t Count On Me,” creating what I believe was one of the earliest genuine fusions of rock guitar, sequenced synths and dance music. Robin later left, with Mark taking over keyboards and adding Dewi Evans, a legend of Welsh-language music, on bass. Recordings are now extremely hard to find; however, these recordings were recently rediscovered. It remains a mystery to me why "Wrapped" was never picked up by a major label. The music is every bit as addictive today as it was over 40 years ago. Currently, the channel hosts three of their tracks: "Wrapped", "Never Seen", and "Don't Count On Me".
