CREATING WORLDS FROM WORLDS CREATED. I don’t play video games in the usual way. For me, a game is not just something to finish, review or stream. It is a starting point: a world with rules, characters, gaps, systems and possibilities. What happens if you take a sports game beyond the season mode? What happens if you give created players full backstories, relationships, rivalries, music careers, mythologies and lives that continue long after the final score? That is what this channel explores. Here, a stock-standard sports game can become a living fictional universe. It is not only about sports games, either. Along the way I also talk about songwriting, guitar making, famous actors and musicians I have met or worked with, award-winning writing, traditional woodworking tools, 1850s craftsmanship, and whatever else connects to the worlds being built.
