This Channel was initially created to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Gary Numan album 'The Pleasure Principle' which was released 07/09/79 The original project goal was to recreate the album in its entirety with a view to playing it live. The project was completed late August 2019. We debuted the show live on 27/12/2019 Keeping as close to the original sounds of the album as I could, but emulating all sounds using digital hardware and software synths. It is mixed for live playing in mind with little stereo separation and also specific sounds higher in the mix. A live Drummer and Bassist are used when performed live, so both bass and drums are programmed from Ableton here for listenability although these may not always be as complex as the original. As we enjoyed it so much, I decided to create further tracks for future shows. This channel will document the continuing progress of this now ongoing project.
