In 1985, STIHL USA joined forces with sports channel ESPN to create the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Series; 2018 marked the 18th year for the competition series in Europe. STIHL, the series’ main sponsor, has now been joined by a number of other partners, including LIEBHERR and Ford. National championships all over the world have long become established. Since 2005 the best competitors worldwide match in the annual World Championships.
