We’re Petter and Margrethe, writer and architect, restoring an 800 year old farmhouse ruin on the Amalfi Coast, in the south of Italy. We’ve been travelling to this area for more than 30 years, and finally decided the time was right to embark on this (for us) massive project, that we hope eventually will be a second home for us and our family (and maybe for others too?). A lot of work lies ahead of us, and if that sound like something you’d be interested in watching, please tag along! We’ll be posting new videos as the restoration continues, and as we have found a lot of inspiration from other brave renovators here on YouTube we also hope to be able to pay it forward. In the videos you’ll also get to see a bit of life on the Amalfi Coast, probably a few clips from Rome, plus there’s a good chance there will be glimpses from travelling around in the rest of Italy too.
