Bantul TV merupakan salah satu media resmi Pemkab Bantul yang didirikan pada 8 Desember 2017 dengan fokus publikasi dalam Kanal YouTube serta Website. Mulanya media ini dikelola oleh pihak ketiga namun pada 2019 Bantul TV mulai dikelola mandiri oleh DInas Kominfo Bantul dengan tetap melibatkan pihak ketiga sebagai kontributor konten. Pada tahun 2020, Bantul TV melakukan rebranding dengan meluncurkan Logo baru serta program acara Kabar Bantul sebagai program berita. Ngopi Pagi dan Miko Cakcoy Goes to School sebagai program feature dengan konsep Talkshow. Kemudian pada tahun 2021, membuat program baru yaitu Kominfo Update, Sosok Inspirasi, Tanya Pak!, serta Local Music Live Untuk mendukung Bantul sebagai Kota Kreatif, Bantul TV menghadirkan konten Tentang Kriya pada 2023 serta Jelajah Kriya pada 2024. Tak berhenti disitu, pada 2024 Bantul TV juga membuat program Cabai Rawit sebagai konten yang menginspirasi. Selain itu, Bantul TV juga rutin melakukan produksi Live Streaming.
