As a trumpet student, I wanted a way to keep myself accountable when it came to playing over the summer and continuing to grow. So I decided to pick arranging back up and I plan to play over anything I make as a way of getting practice in across multiple different areas. This will also serve as a passion project for me. I've been arranging off and on for a couple years but I never felt particularly proud of anything I made. Despite this I've always wanted to get better at it. I plan to heavily focus on Jazz arrangements and solo trumpet repertoire since those are styles I can produce by myself. However that doesn't mean I'm opposed to other styles. I used to make a lot of orchestra arrangements so I may still make some from time to time and I've recently shown interest in writing for Marching Band. I'll likely focus on covering tracks from video games since I'm more familiar with that field but I may branch out in the future. I'm open to requests so just let me know if you have any.
