Hello and welcome to The Sengoku Archives YouTube channel! My name is Shawn, and I thank you all for checking out my channel! This is tied to my website of the same name and my focus is to dive deeper into the Sengoku Jidai, also known as the "Warring States Period": a time of civil war in Japan. While we will be looking at about 148 years of history (1467-1615), we will be diving into the lesser known and not as popular topics of this era, such as legends and myths, lesser known people and their roles, the women, Christianity in Japan, and even look at how daily life was for common people. Don't worry, we got something here for everyone, as I will also be doing reviews as well: animes, books, documentaries, video games, films, basically anything that brings the Sengoku Jidai into the pop culture spotlight. I hope you enjoy the channel and let's reinvent Sengoku history.
