The IVC Band Archive, is a project launched in Fall 2015. The goal of the project is to organize videos and upload older videos of performances of the IVC Marching Grey Ghosts that ordinarily would not be available to viewers. The discovery and organization of old VHS tapes prompted the need to share these unique home movies. The Archive hopes to upload and stream these video tapes along with playlists including other uploads already on YouTube for alumni to view. The Illinois Valley Central High School Marching Grey Ghosts are from Chillicothe, Illinois and are 15 time Illinois State Champions and have a long resume of national performances. During the 1990's under the direction of Dan Dietrich, the Marching Grey Ghosts were propelled into minor notoriety after placing nationally and then winning consecutive State titles. Performances at the Fiesta Bowl, Citrus Bowl, and Pegasus parade further launched the band as one of the premier marching bands in the state of Illinois.
