Welcome to MKDS Records. We upload old Mario Kart DS runs (mostly World Records) with 2 objectives in mind: 1. Accessibility: most of the videos of the WRs driven prior to 2008 are all stored only in sites like Ngamer and wrvids, which require the viewer to download the video they want to watch. Sometimes these videos require special programs too, due to the outdated codecs they use, making the process of accessing the WR the opposite of user-friendly. 2. Preservation: many platforms have been infamous for removing videos, including MKDS WRs, for the user's misconduct, for copyright claims over the music used in the background or even for no reasons at all. These videos are now completely gone. We want to preserve all the important MKDS videos by storing them here, a safe place with lots of contacts with the community.
