The American punk group Title Fight formed in 2003 in Kingston, Pennsylvania. The original lineup consisted of Jamie Rhoden (guitar/vocals) and twin siblings Ned and Ben Russin (bass/vocals, drums). Second guitarist Shane Moran was added to the lineup in 2005. In the years between 2003 and 2010, Title Fight released seven recordings, a mix of EPs, demos, and one split with fellow PA punk rockers The Erection Kids. SideOneDummy Records signed the band in 2011, and they proceeded to release the full length albums Shed (2011), for which they filmed three music videos, and Floral Green (2012), which debuted at #69 on the Billbard Top 200. In 2013 they released the EP Spring Songs on Revelation Records, with its single "Be A Toy" getting a SPIN magazine premiere and an appealingly low-budget video featuring live and behind the scenes footage from the band's 2013 European Tour. Described as "an ambitious band that makes very good songs" by Pitchfork 's Ian Cohen, Title Fight have an up-tempo, aggressive sound, and are known for an energetic, wild stage presence. They have been compared to other notable punk acts like Alkaline Trio, Brand New, and Such Gold. Since their signing in 2011, they have toured extensively in the US, Canada, and Europe, with bands including Touché Amoré, Tigers Jaw, Balance and Composure, and Rise Against. They played two dates on the 2012 Vans Warped Tour, and the song "Shed" was featured on that year's Warped Tour compilation. In 2014 they played the massive music festival Coachella in California, and are slated to appear at the 3 - day Hardcore Fest in Philadelphia.
