Initially beginning with 6 members who were unenthusiastically banded together by their deported drummer (6+1=7), the band started out under the name The Blue Foxes, after the drummer erratically created and Instagram account. No one bothered to practice songs, except for the drummer in Korea, and the guitarist and bassist here in Australia. Eventually, the pointless members expressed that they did not wish to make the commitment to stay in the band and in turn departed the band, which prompted the newly appointed 'owner' to discuss with the co-founder a new name. The duo came up with 'The Exotics' and pitched it to the two other members, who agreed with the name. Once the school began promoting more articulate performances that consisted of vocals, the band collectively decided to draft in one of the friends who were practising with the band frequently and so became the lineup that can be seen today: King Jaydo: Bass Rasin Tost: Vocals YJ: Drums Devin: Guitar
