As we climbed the Myspace unsigned charts with early demo versions of "Lost", "Stronger”, and "Angels of Clarity”, more and more people became proud to call themselves a Dead by April fan. Eventually we'd be discovered by the label Universal Music Group, as well as EMI Music Publishing (today a joint venture with Sony/ATV). This in turn, resulted in us recording our self entitled debut album, "Dead by April”, in 2009. The big breakthrough, came that same year, with the release of our first official single, "Losing You". It became a huge hit far beyond all of our expectations As it topped the charts for three whole weeks as no.1!
