Welcome to my channel. It is devoted to long distance adventures on foot. This includes backpacking and walking long distance trails as well as long distance trail running events. In addition I will look at some of the gear I have used and give my comments and impressions. Since completing the Scottish Munros in 2021 I have rekindled my love of backpacking. Along with my wife Judith we are backpacking trails that capture our imagination and have thoroughly enjoyed seeing the beauty of the UK as well as the Alps and Colorado. I have also extended my love of trail running to ultra running. I have shared videos of some of the events I have entered to try and encapture the fun and inclusivity that exists in this community and the joy of being out on some wonderful trails in the UK. I will review some of the the kit and gear I have used, to perhaps help inform anyone who is thinking of purchasing them. When I do a review it is after extensive use and not out of the box.
