We've been in business here in the Minneapolis area since 2004, but our program has been developing since 1996. We started out on the east coast working with some large corporations that were going through major layoffs. Our goal was to go in as consulting team to really help those dislocated workers with everything involved with leaving one company, and finding a job somewhere else. We helped with the job search; finding positions, resumes, interviewing, networking. But we also went beyond that. A lot of those employees were losing their health benefits; not just for themselves, but for their families as well; they weren't entirely sure how to replace those, so we talked about what to consider there. That's where we started, and we ended up working with about 15 different fortune 500 companies. All of that consulting work we did we developed through the changes in the market, and boiled down into what we do today, and that's what we've been focusing on since 2004.
