My name is Pete, I'm 76 and as of May 2020, in the middle of the Covid-19 lockdown, I became a vlogger. The channel name, "Grey Matters" is a play on words. It celebrates the fact that we "Greys" matter, that the older generation still has relevance and something to offer. AND it discusses the issues that matter to the older generation, who have all seen it, lived it, done it and are STILL doing it. We are politically neutral but we will always comment on, and challenge, government decisions/policies that affect the older generation, for good or bad. Since its inception, Grey Matters has now has close to 60,000 subscribers and more than 5.6m views. We've become a channel dedicated to giving older people a voice, challenging assumptions, and making sure our generation is treated with fairness, dignity, and respect.
