I have made this channel to give you some insights about the life and lifestyle as a modern seafarer and I hope it will inspire and motivate you to pursue your dreams. My name is Thomas. I am 36 years old and from Denmark. I have spent many years of my life at sea. From 2010 to 2020 I worked at sea in the Danish shipping company TORM A/S on board oil and chemical tankers world wide. I worked on board in the following positions: Deck Cadet, 3rd Officer, 2nd Officer and Chief Officer. From 2020 to 2024 I worked ashore as an Assistant Harbour Master at The Port of Aalborg, Denmark. Since May 2024 I have worked at sea in the Danish shipping company DFDS A/S as a Deck Officer on board ro-ro passenger and cargo ships.
