Do you like bear cubs? I'm kidding, who doesn't?! Maybe you didn't know, and if you did that's great, but there’s a place in Romania where orphan bear cubs have a second chance at a normal life in the wild. Bear Again is the only place in Europe where these adorable furballs can grow and practice their inborn abilities until they are ready to join their wild kin. If not for this project, these cubs would end up in sanctuaries or zoos and would face a lifetime in captivity. Using a unique technique, we are able to rehabilitate these orphans and return them to the wild as veritable members of their species. We have minimum contact with the cubs, and to avoid altering their behaviour we feed them with a drone and keep them in large, totally natural enclosures, surrounded by electrical fences, until release. Access to the project area is restricted, as not to interfere with the rehabilitation process, but we want to share with you the most intimate stories from Bear Again. Enjoy!
