Uzelli is a Turkish label and music producer, established in Frankfurt in 1974. The founder of the company - Muammer Uzelli together with his brother Yavuz, created a company that provided Turkish immigrants from Germany with the freshest sounds from their homeland. In 1977 Uzelli opened the first cassette factory in Turkey, becoming one of the biggest Turkish producers of popular music on cassettes. Uzelli archive consists of rich and diversed catalogue of more than 1330 albums of various genres – arabesque, tavern, arabic music, psychedelic pop and rock, aşik, bellydance, Turkish classical music, folk and turbo folk. Uzelli, with its 40+ years legacy and experience in music industry, pays a tribute to its artists and Turkish music culture of late 70s and 80s.
