The turning point for me was SHINOCO. As a music producer/sound artist for Strategic Simulations, Inc. I got to flex my production muscles for the products. We poured our blood sweat and tears into our game sound and music, we pioneered the craft of game soundtracking in the mid 90s. Dial 911 Productions is a testimony to our efforts. In Dial 911, we always planned on finding someone to front the band. Our tunes are all instrumental as proof we never did find that perfect front person. But SHINOCO changed everything for me. For the first time ever, I started writing songs for me to sing. Dr Boyfriend was huge inspiration, his raw and pure style was just brilliant and caused me to step up and really go for it on the songs I was to sing for the band. I spent my entire career backing up other people, and finally I got shoved out into the spotlight. It became up to me to front the band, and carry the show.
