I have been a proud social worker for 35 years and a practice educator for 30 years. I have a passion for our profession and am particularly interested in what I would refer to as âconnectedâ social work. By that I mean social work which enables people to create and maintain connections. Those connections might include: · Theory and practice · Reflective practice · Analysis and hypothesising · Relationships   I hope that this channel will help social workers at every stage of their career journey to reflect and connect. During the Covid 19 pandemic I started a series of webinars with a group of students - togethere we became social work student connect. Those webinars provide lots of information on theory, reflection and practice situations. They still have real value - and most of the 100 webinars we delivered are available to watch back on this channel.
