Growing up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin I would always travel along with dad to the ‘back 40’ to cut, split, and make firewood. It’s something we continue to do to this day. It’s in my blood and there’s no getting it out. There’s a lot of work involved and things never seem to go as planned, but as long as we continue to have fun it always turns out for the best in the end.
