Lamar Cruz, also known by his stage name Lilmar, was born and raised in Seattle, Washington on June 9th, 2000. Lilmar moved to Columbia, South Carolina in May 2014 and began pursuing his rap career. In June 2014, he started his own independent record label, LMW Music Group. Lilmar released his first official single in 2015 called "Savage Ish". He took a short break from rapping to focus on his acting and modelling career. In June 2017, he released his most popular single "Preme Drawls". It gained him a lot of attention following the release of "Bape Mask", âCherry", âMustangâ and other hit singles. Lilmar dropped his first 12 song studio album on January 4th, 2018. This included many hits such as âDo Da Marâ, âBody Countâ and âCatching Feelingsâ. After dropping visuals for multiple songs with Luke Productions and A1 Visuals, Lilmar started gaining a decent following on his Instagram, now at over 60k. He also does comedy videos on the side and has gone viral many times, even being mentioned in a tweet by Adam 22 and being recognized by popular rappers such as Lil Boom and Killumantii. Lilmar has now released his 2nd project, a 6 song studio EP called âLonelyâ on January 4th, 2019, which was intentionally the release date of his first album.
