"Love Animal, Respect Life, No Killing or Abandoning" 保護遺棄動物協會(簡稱SAA) 是由一群關注動物權益的人士於1997年6月4日創辦，以 「愛護動物‧尊重生命‧不殺不棄」為宗旨，並於1998年5月28日正式註冊成為政府認可的慈善團體。 經過多年的努力，得到各界社會人士慷慨捐助以及義工的支持，致令本會發展成為全港其中一個最大的動物庇護中心，對此我們實在衷心感激。 SAA主要服務範圍包括： - 接收及照顧一些因為經濟、健康或居住等問題而被主人遺棄的動物，安排領養服務。 - 成立動物捐血者資料庫(為獸醫診所及寵物主人提供協助)。 - 本會的「動物醫療中心」於2005年11月落成，中心內設有手術室及隔離病房，並協助推行「捕捉/絕育/放回」(TNR)計劃，藉此減少流浪動物的數目。 - 提供動物諮詢熱線，提供正確飼養動物的方法、有關動物病患、行為和心理的意見及幫助尋找遺失動物等。 - 定時開放給市民參觀及團體探訪。 - 於學校及社區團體舉辦講座，藉此提高及教導大家愛護動物及尊重生命的意識。 - 舉行不同類型的公眾教育活動，推廣動物應有的權益。 每當一隻被遺棄的動物成功覓得新主人，都令我們歡欣雀躍，亦推動我們昂首向前，朝著拯救更多被遺棄動物的目標努力邁進。
