Here, I show you my progress on "Serious Sam: The Build Engine Encounter" TC for DN3D, like a dev blog. From time to time, I also upload tracks I've produced (Metal, Gabber, Hardstyle, etc.). ​This TC is a huge modification of DN3D Atomic Ed., which uses the Build engine created by Ken Silverman in the 90s. My aim is to revisit the first-person shooter Serious Sam TFE (including assets from the TSE episode), developed by Croteam around 2000. The concept, however, is to give a retro feel to the whole thing by using the color palette and technical look of DN3D from 1996 (but with modern CON-script and DEF systems). ​I'm using EDuke32, SS1texConverter, BAFed, Photoshop, Magix Music Maker, Audacity, Notepad++, Serious Modeler, Milkshape3D, a few assets from the DOOM modding community, and elsewhere... ​This project is being carried out in my spare time, balanced with music (as a grindcore guitarist and solo Gabber producer), DIY, amateur guitar making, gaming and simply real dad life.
