Welcome to my channel. I have a PhD in computer science, and a minor in Ancient Near Eastern History from Brigham Young University. I am a Unitarian Universalist Secular Buddhist, and an ExMormon. Language Interests include Biblical Hebrew, Middle Egyptian, and a smattering of Biblical Greek, Coptic, and Syriac. Teaching was always my first love. While at BYU, I taught courses in Isaiah, the Book of Mormon, and the Pearl of Great Price in the Ancient Scripture Department. I originally planned to teach religion in a Mormon context after graduation. However, since my faith transition, and now that I am no longer Mormon, the Unitarian Church of Los Alamos has graciously allowed me to continue to teach the subjects that I love there, and it has been interesting to re evaluate the material from a more secular perspective.
