The Famous 4th Street Cookie Company was created, and in 1982 the popular Reading Terminal Market location was opened. When our cookies were baked, people lined up and couldn’t get enough – and it’s still the same today. In 2016 we opened our brand-new, state-of-the-art bakery at 4177 Ridge Avenue. Over the years we’ve added lots of delicious, decadent cookies like Chocolate Macadamia Nut, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, and the amazing Snickerdoodle. But through it all, some things have not changed: We still use the same tried-and-true recipe for our Chocolate Chip Cookie. We still use only the finest, all-natural ingredients, with no artificial colors or flavors. And we still use only pure genuine chocolate chips. Our cookies taste homemade because they ARE homemade – with the same premium, all-natural ingredients grandma used. Just like the first day they were served back on 4th Street so many years ago.
