Hello, friends! I'm a visual artist - that means I draw, paint, and on minor occasions build and sculpt. My specialty is painting realistically, particularly people. However, ANY day that I'm making with my hands is a GOOD day. I'm passionate about making art and teaching others (that's you!) how to channel their creative talents to make amazing artwork. I blend humor, clarity, and years of art making experience into all of my courses. I believe we are all born artists. The more we create, the smarter, curious, and happier we become. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Florida Southern College (2006) and hold a Master of Fine Arts from Florida Atlantic University (2017). I love to eat peanut butter and bananas on two waffles every morning. I have a studio assistant, my rescue dog, Lucius Fox. He shows up to class quite a bit but, if I'm being honest, is a lazy artist.
