Fifty years ago I found my voice as a writer when I launched a daily serial in the San Francisco Chronicle that grew into ten "Tales of the City" novels with an audience of millions around the world. Most of those readers I've never had the chance to meet. All of them, I'm sure, would have rich stories to tell me about their own connection to the family at 28 Barbary Lane. I would enjoy having such an exchange in my twilight years, so my husband Chris has set up this YouTube thingy and signed on as videographer and co-conspirator. He knows how to make me look and sound purty. Here you'll find assorted senile ramblings, a plethora of kickass queer memories and occasional visits from old friends who know me well.
