Where We First Met balance alternative rock, pop punk, and emo, always trying to find new ways to convey their introspective lyrics in their melodic and hooky music. The quartet’s current line-up include singer Michael Lewash, guitarist Younes Hülse, bassist Leonard Gibalowski, and drummer Marcel Leuschner. The group formed in Bonn, Germany, in 2021. In search of an original band name, the members came across the spot of their first meet-up during a music video shoot and settled on “Where We First Met”. The band released their first 7-song-EP “Life’s Out To Get You” in 2022 and began recording songs for their first full-length release "Fading Echoes" in late 2023. The album was released in its entirety in February 2025.
