This is the official channel for the band New Sunday New Sunday is a studio band formed in januar 2026. The only regular member is the songwriter Einar Askelsson. The band was formed to process his music for a release. New Sunday has released 3 singles. In the last 2 and at least for the next single the vocalist Elizabeth Holmes and the executive producer Simon Jones have been working with Einar. Einar has been writing songs since he started using the guitar as a self help tool to fight against sever anxiety after waking up in the mornings. Then he didn´t knew much but by jamming the guitar had unbelievable impact on his health. He was fighting the illness Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD). Einar has a creative mind and always when he picked up the guitar (after learning more chords) he automatically started to create music (if you could call it that at that time). CPTSD is a life threatening illness but Einar managed to recover but it took him few years. The illness at leas gave him the start of his musical and songwriting carrier. Einar uses the guitar mainly for the initial songwriting to find a chord progression. To do that he must have the lyrics (he writes them) in front of him.
