She has more than 45 years of experience in teaching English to graduate and post-graduate students. She has 31 years experience of pursuing research and has guided 15 Ph.D. and 12 M.Phil scholars. She has published 47 books and 52 articles in national and international journals. She has visited 15 countries on academic and other assignments. Throughout her career and post-retirement, she has been delivering lectures on varied topics many of them on learning English. Some of the lectures delivered by her have been randomly uploaded by the Event Organizers on YouTube which gained a lot of popularity. Based on the numerous requests she has received to teach English, she has decided to start a free-of-cost online classroom where she will upload videos on learning English covering both language and literature to help students of all ages.
