FiRMA, an iconic Romanian alternative band, debuted with "La Orbire" in 2003. Their singles received heavy MTV rotation and the band led by singer-songwriter Rocca were nominated for "Best Romanian Act" at the 2004 MTV EMA and "Best Rock Band" at the 2005 MTV RMA. Their next album, "EXIT" (2007), introduced pop-rock influences. “Baby is Crying” earned an invite to the 2007 MTV EMA. Between 2012-2014, they released "Descantece vol.1," winning the 2014 "SUNETE Most Wanted Comeback" award and opened for MUSE in 2016. Rocca composed the soundtrack for the play "Spring Awakening" in 2017. Their fourth album, "Descantece vol.2," followed, and in 2018, they released "Selected Poems Vol.I" blending music with poetry. They performed for “Hope and Homes for Children” and opened for Bon Jovi in 2019. They also performed for Radio Romania Cultural's "Romanian Artists for Ukrainian Artists" campaign. Currently, Daniel Rocca, Sorin Erhan and Dani Radu are working on a new studio album.
