Welcome to my little workshop in the southwest of Ireland — I’m a woodturner based in County Kerry, proudly flying the flag for Irish craftsmanship. 🇮🇪 Every Wednesday night (Irish time), I upload a new video — sharing my latest woodturning projects, from bowls and hollow forms to resin and exotic wood creations. I also post bonus videos to answer your questions from the comments and social media. My journey with woodturning began over 30 years ago, when I was lucky enough to learn the craft from a master turner here in Ireland. Life took me away from the lathe when I became a firefighter, but after retiring on medical grounds due to Lyme Disease, I returned to the shavings and spinning wood — and never looked back. My goal is simple: to share the joy of turning, preserve traditional Irish woodcraft, and hopefully inspire others to give it a go.
