Kala Ankur's main aim is to discover young talent and provide them platform and guidance to mature into good performing artists. Apart from its annual activities of talent search & promotion, some other programs based on different themes are also organized. Kala Ankur's most popular program is its yearly SMARAN series of musical tribute to the late legends of music. In this series, we have so far covered 16 legends starting from K.L.Sehgal in1997.
