Why should you feel a sense of dread on Sunday nights as work looms in a few hours? Why should you tolerate a toxic environment just to make ends meet and have limited time off? A 9-5 was no longer sustainable for my mental and physical health, so I looked into becoming a Virtual Assistant. With no pension, no savings, a mortgage and a single parent it felt more than scary. Within 90 days, I'd was earning enough to leave my job. Today I earn five times my previous salary, have savings, a pension, no mortgage and the work-life balance I'd always wanted.
