Christina D. Sung is a highly acclaimed Korean-American pianist who began playing the piano at the age of 8½. Since then, she has achieved significant milestones in her piano performance career. She is a recipient of the Chopin Foundation Scholarship and a National YoungArts winner. In 2026, she competed as one of 20 participants in the Hilton Head Int'l and the Cleveland Int'l Piano Competitions. Additionally, she has earned top prizes at the Kaufman Int'l, PYPA Int'l and MTNA National Finals. Christina also won the 2026 Cleveland Institute Competition, the 2026 OPUS National, and received the Grand Prize at the 11th ENKOR Int'l Competition, along with First Prizes at the Emory Young Artist Competition and Int'l Keyboard Odyssiad®. She made her orchestral debut at the age of 12 with the Utah Symphony at Abravanel Hall. She has been an active chamber musician with her piano trio since 2021. Christina is fluent in five languages, demonstrating her remarkable musico-linguistic abilities.
