In August 2024, I bought my first boat. My first day of boating was on the New River. By April 2026, I completed a 600-mile offshore run from PCB to Miami. We are documenting the learning curve on the water and behind the camera. We show what works, what doesn't, what breaks, and exactly what it costs to run boats like these. They say you should jump off the cliff and learn to fly on the way down, and that is exactly what we are doing at Selective Hearing. Without a background in boating or YouTube, can we build a brand while creating amazing memories? Our 1999 Cigarette 38 Top Gun has been in the shop since May 2025. While it is being rebuilt, we moved from our Schaefer 400 into a Midnight Express 43 Solstice. Once the Top Gun is back, we will be filming longer offshore runs on both.
