Healthy Hearts Among Pacific Islanders (HHAPI) is an educational program created by and for Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders to manage high blood pressure and/or type 2 diabetes. HHAPI is the first ONLINE research study for Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders. This is a program offered by the Institute for Research and Education to Advance Community Health (IREACH). IREACH is a large research institute at Washington State University (WSU) that conducts transdisciplinary research devoted to promoting health and health care equity among Indigenous and rural populations.
