We are an Uttarakhand based Band & Production house which was incorporated in 2008. We started out small and have made significant progress in our primary aim of reviving and popularizing Uttarakhand and Himalaya's folk Music amongst the Indian audience which primarily consists of the youth of our country. Growing up we were awe-inspired by the richness, intensity and depth of Uttarakhand’s folk Music and art. This, coupled with our exposure to World music cultivated a deeply rooted desire within us to revive and share our folk arts with the world. All this while discovering and working with new artists to present and produce fresh content as well as preserving our heritage. During our work with Folk art throughout the years, we discovered that the youth, rather the audience in general, is losing interest in folk music and artforms. A lot of money and investment, often misdirected, is put into reviving and keeping traditional artforms alive by various organizations, governmental bodies and artists, but it does not get the attention and appreciation it deserves. One of the main reasons behind that is the fact that the produced content is not at par with the kind of music and content the audience is used to consuming, more so with the advent of Digitalization and Globalization.
