Rayen Panday is vooral bekend als cabaretier. Momenteel tourt hij door Nederland, met alweer zijn zesde cabaretvoorstelling, getiteld ‘Focus’. Hij is tevens bekend van de ‘Netflix Specials Live: Comedians Of The World’, Prime Video's 'Last One Laughing (LOL)' en zijn columns op NPO Radio 1 & 2. Rayen is in 1983 geboren in Zaandam. Tijdens zijn rechtenstudie doet hij in 2008 mee aan een open podium stand-up comedy, iets wat hij stiekem al heel lang wilde. Hij wordt benaderd om auditie te doen voor het Groninger Studenten Cabaret Festival 2008 waar hij in de finale de Persoonlijkheidsprijs wint. Sindsdien is Rayen actief als comedian en cabaretier. In 2010 wordt hij een vaste kracht van het Comedy Café in Amsterdam en begint hij aan zijn eerste avondvullende cabaretprogramma. Naast zijn theatervoorstellingen is hij tevens bekend van zijn vele optredens in TV-programma’s en festivals als Lowlands en Paaspop. Sinds 2016 is hij lid van de Comedytrain en regelmatig te zien in Toomler.
