SUSKI / सुस्कि is an independent Nepali Hong Kong rap artist and storyteller who dabbles in both written and visual storytelling. Born and raised between two cultures, Nepal and Hong Kong in the social media era, her music captures the wide variety of emotions felt by her generation. Her versatility in music ranges from heartfelt empowering lyricism to aggressive but humorous undertones. Grounding herself in the spirit and community of Hip Hop, she is also deeply committed in building stories throughout and fully with sensitivity and research. She has been directing her music videos and recently directed other projects such as Ujjwala Maharjan's Apwoh Misah. Beyond music and videos, she has been involved in and led educational projects in both HK and Nepal. She also cofounded a zine collective in HK called narrativesbyus, arranging community events and self published work of 30+ artists. She believes art and our belief should be lived out through our daily life and actions.
