After almost 15 years and an additional 12 YouTube channels, I learned a lot about how to improve the recordings. I still plug the turntable into the computer, but now I can use different cartridges and stylii for different records, and since 2013, I've used a suite of audio enhancement programs by Brian Davies to bring out the most from each recording.
