About Marija
Marija (aka Marija Žeželj) is a Serbian singer, born on November 20th, 1999, in Novi Sad. Before she recorded her debut single ’Dance Like Nobody’s Watching’ at the age of 17, she already had a career as an author, vlogger, and model. Marija started her versatile career as a model in 2015 and has gradually become Serbia’s most influential teenager. At the age of 16 she had already written a bestselling book. Marija has signed a deal with Universal Music Serbia in 2017 and launched her debut single ‘Dance Like Nobody’s Watching’ that same year. Her first single was the most successful debut of the year in Serbia and throughout the region, while trending across the globe. Her songs are produced and written by popmaché and inspired by Marija’s multifaceted career. Her inspirational song reveals the sound of a young artist who has gradually evolved into a young woman, who embraces her fame and dances to the beat of her own drum.
