The Madness of the Mind: Journaling Sessions My name is Aisha Shante Jackson and I suffer from schizoaffective disorder, diagnosed at 28. I am now 48. And in that time, I learned that schizoaffective disorder affects many different people from all nationalities. It affects about 1% of the population. There is a high suicide rate within the mental health community itself, and that fact alone really saddens me. So, I wanted to do something. I wanted to write messages of hope and empowerment. Thus, starting a vlog about real circumstances of life for people who have a mental illness and for those who need a little encouragement.
