Gli Storks si formano nel 1985 in terra Toscana a Pontedera per iniziativa del cantante Luca Mazzuoli che con gli stessi componenti del gruppo aveva in un primo momento denominato The Marble Cutters. Sound tipicamente orientato nel garage-punk e nel rhythm and blues più sfrenato sulle orme di bands mod/sixties oriented. Nel 1986 realizzano una demo-tape "Feeling Crawly" che riscuote interesse sia in Italia che all'estero consentendo alla band di suonare numerosi e selvaggi concerti, significativo è stato il supporto al concerto dei Pretty Things nel 1988 a Grassina (Firenze). Per l'etichetta Electric Eye registrano un brano "Bad Life" nella compilation "Neolithic Sound Of South Europe". Gli Storks restano attivi fino ai primi anni '90, anni in cui Michele Profeti e Stefano Gabbani entreranno a far parte degli Standarte. Solo nel 2010 gli Storks torneranno tutti insieme con l'aggiunta di un altro chitarrista, Sandro Vitolo.
