Retired police officer and Army veteran returning to the beautiful Angus countryside with better half Nicky & our mini schnauzers, Louie & Baxter. Massive music & movie fan and an ardent supporter of Dundee United. I love creating spiced preserves, chutneys and sauces and cooking generally, very much what you could describe as a bit of a foodie. Sustainability is very important to us and we hope to become largely self sufficient by next year...we'll see how that goes but that's the plan. As well as recording our refurb & extension, you'll get my opinions on various subjects and hopefully, when the facilities allow, there might a bit of cooking advice or recipe! You'll also get reviews of all sorts of things. I hope to provide some insight on the beautiful Angus countryside and recommend places to visit nearby.
