The Muff Liquor Company is a family run business based on the village Muff in Co Donegal, the company produces multi award winning Irish potato spirits. Our story starts when Greencastle native Philip McClenaghan farmed and ran a fairly popular potato businesses, but he was soon possessed by what his mother would have called “a little bit of divilment” and began experimenting with alcohol recipes using his distillation process to create his own, delicious poitin. Fast forward to modern day, and his granddaughter Laura M Bonner has picked up the family baton. Inspired by her grandad, she founded The Muff Liquor Company and helped grow the brand into the international success it is today. Our Muff Irish Potato Gin came onto the scene in 2018, followed by Muff Irish Potato Vodka and Muff Irish Whiskey. The spirits have been scooping up awards around the world ever since.
